Paved, Neighborhood Bike Trail along a Canal

The Town-n-Country Greenway is a 2-mile multi-use trail at Town-n-Country, a Tampa suburb. Though short, this is a pleasant community ride, connecting the Shimberg Sports Complex to residential communities. Running along a canal, the Greenway maintains a natural feel with mixed shade and sun. Benches are provided at intervals, no other facilities but there are restaurants and businesses at the western end (Sheldon Road). Planned future biking connectors are outlined in Hillsborough County's Greenways and Trails Plan - the Memorial Bikeway (to the Upper Tampa Bay Trail), the Kirby Canal Trail (to the City of Tampa), and the George Road Complete Street project (to the Courtney Campbell Causeway Trail). Greenway - from West to East

Except for 1/4 mile at the western end (Sheldon Rd.), the Greenway runs along a canal and wetlands that separate it from the surrounding neighborhoods. There are two crossroads: (1) at the Webb Rd. Trailhead (parking, no other facilities), and (2) at Hanley Rd. (this is a busy road with a traffic light and crossing signal - be careful). The trail comes to a dead end at George Rd. (future link to Courtney Campbell Causeway Trail).
