An Urban Oasis near Hollywood Beach

Located between Hollywood and Dania Beach, this large urban park includes about 3 miles of mangrove preserve adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway, plus the Anna Kolb Nature Center. Just under a mile of paved biking and walking trail wind through the southern section of the park (south of Sheridan Street). Free parking during the week. Wide sidewalk links to beach. Paved Path at the Park

While not a destination bike trail, this is a popular park, with picnicking, ball courts, dock and fishing platform, and a small marina with canoe, kayak rentals and tours. It is often used by cyclists for parking and meet-ups for the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk (see link below) - about a one-mile ride straight east on a wide sidewalk along Sheridan St., crossing the Intracoastal Waterway.
