Biking on the Starkey Blvd. Trail... Comments and Photos

SR 54 to Lake Blanche Dr.

This description (@March 2021) was prior to installation of a new crosswalk at SR 54 and Starkey Blvd. While this route is an alternative, the main trail is now on the east side of the road and eliminates the need to cross at Lake Ave./Lake Blanche Drive. We'll update on a future visit.

From SR 54, the trail runs northbound on the west side of Starkey Blvd. along a pasture and natural area with one road crossing. At Town Ave./Lake Blanche Drive (about 4/10 mile), it crosses to the east side and proceeds along Starkey Blvd. Trinity Cyclery is conveniently located to the left at Town Ave.

Lake Blanche Dr. to Starkey Wilderness Park

Starkey Blvd. Trail runs northbound from Lake Blanche Drive along the eastern side of Starkey Blvd. The trail largely borders Starkey Wilderness Park, so not much development and a rustic feel. A few road crossings, some with crossing signals, but an easy ride.
